The Pub Quiz

We went to a pub quiz last night at a local bar here in the village, we tend to go every Tuesday and keep our brains active!
JJ's is a bar owned by Sylvia and Gordon and English couple who have lived here for about 7 years, in the summer the main clients are tourists but this year they have opened in the winter for the expats that live here all year round.
They only open 3 nights a week but it is a place to meet up and have a chat with fellow expats if you feel the need for some English conversation, which we all need now and again. We love to mix with the local people, to be honest that is why we came to live here to be with the Greek people but there are times when we need to have a good old chat in our own language.
This morning even though I feel tired after celebrating our team winning the quiz for the first time I need to get on with some work, I am trying to build up my online business so I must get organised with the jobs for today. The village is slowly starting to come alive after the quiet time of the winter, there are lots of preparations for the Easter going on, if you have ever visited Greece you will know that Easter is the most important and biggest Holiday here and it is only a few weeks away so we will see the first tourists arriving for the celebrations.
